problem is that a few of those hosts are slow (1-2 sec response time), and there are 6 hosts to test. Now the REAL problem is that these hosts should only be checked for new users, but they check all users. This is a code bug inside the block mod that needs to be fixed with an upgrade of this mod.

Well I turned the spamcheck back on, but only enabled the dnsbl.othello.ch list (which actually caught 16167 out of 16169 spammers). Seems to be snappy still
