Hail,
I installed RC1 on two B2's following the steps outlined on the wiki and the procedure worked as advertised, however, upon applying the same procedure to RC3, one B2 came up (it works quite well now) but the other (the older one) will not pass the 2 Hz blinking light stage. I tried about 1 dozen times, waiting a couple of minutes with power off and holding down the button for different amounts of time but with no success. Comments, suggestions?

Hail,
Ignore my previous post regarding B2 not loading RC3; my fault.

It looks like the 2.4.1 has been release quietly at least it is that version you do get when you go to the
"support"->"downloads" Bubba2 "Re-install image" from the home page. It seems to have been uploaded on mars the 19:th.

Yes, you should set the partition option to 0 too. Can't remember what other options there are.

pmurphy, did you have any luck running CrashPlan on a Bubba 2?pmurphy wrote:Does anyone have Java successfully installed after this latest update? Just wondering as I'm about to upgrade my own Bubba 2. Would like to try and install linux version of CrashPlan which depends on Java version 1.6+ - it's probably impossible based on their machine requirements, but I'm going to give it a go. http://www.crashplan.com/consumer/downl ... l?os=Linux
I'd like to do the same, but suspect it might be asking too much of the poor little B2...
