to UBI: I intentionally did not hook up the windows to anything except to the B3 server with crossover, that way I could maybe arp it and maybe get the hardware address and reset it that way.
To Binkem: I know it was set with DHCP, thinking I might hard IP it from now on.
To Puma: didn't try WAN ...

B3 completely unreachable
After a power outage, which the B3 was on battery, and I shut it off gracefully. I restarted the B3 and I am unable to reach it. After several reboots of the B3 it still won't connect. I tried using both IP, B3, name and in a web browser. So I figured I'd be smart and connect laptop to the LAN port ...

Re: Folders lost after Creating RAID
Ugh...I just bought these items why didn't they have the latest update on them? Well either way I appreciate your efforts and applaud your responsiveness to my predicaments. This is why I keep coming back to you, I have the very first Bubba server that I bought I think sometime in May of 2006.

Re: Raid Mirror Time
Yeah not going to try the RAID thing again...since it wasted a whole day of effort. Even had issues with the re-install but now its stable and I'll just run backups instead. I'll also keep an image of the OS handy too just in case. Only reason I wanted a RAID was effortless/instant backup but I can ...

Re: Will setting up RAID will destroy the OS?
I have 2TB drives...I left it running overnight and it never rebooted so I rebooted and was able to connect but lost everything in home too and then had some weird errors in the webpages too. Only way I fixed it was to reinstall the whole image. I will try the RAID again but only if I can figure a ...

Re: Folders lost after Creating RAID
I had 2.3.1.1 I ended up having to re-install the image and even that hiccuped and I had to do it twice. A little scary for a first time out of the box experience. I thought I may have messed up the HD but it seems to be fine now. I am NOT going to use the RAID setup again since that script has ...

Re: Raid Mirror Time
Okay left it overnight and still didn't reboot on its own so I took a chance and rebooted by hitting the reset button. I can now connect and bring up the webpages. Looks like RAID got setup properly. Only issue I have is the Users page shows this error.

Re: Raid Mirror Time
I had access before on the B3 then I went and used the web pages to create the RAID as it was instructed on them.

Re: Will setting up RAID will destroy the OS?
By the way how long does it take to setup the RAID and let it run? Mines been going for 3 hours and I can't ping the B3 yet, used to be able to before the I started the raid setup from the interface. Will it reboot back to normal once its done?

SMB phone
Trying to use the AndSMB client with my Bubba server. Seems to be having some credential issues. Not sure how to set the samba.conf. I can access the home/storage no problem from the Windows PC...without having to log in at all but when I try to use the AndSMB and do it anonymous then it errors with ...
