Not really solved, but resolved I guess as far as it's not an issue any more, I ended up using my secondary backup B3 unit. Just made sure I had copied data over and swapped out the devices.
I am going to wipe and rebuild the problem unit, I had full backups of everything so just swapped the units ...

(Resolved) Fetchmail (log message incomplete)
Hello Chaps.
It's been a long time since I've been here! My B3 has been running fine with no issues, and little need for interference for pretty much 2 years, other than general maintenance.
Anyway, this week I hit an issue and I think it was due to the recent vulnerability that I've seen here ...

Re: Sudden Fetchmail Failures
Ok so after my 5TH call to my mail host they finally admit that they had blocked my IP Address - not sure why they hadn't realised before then but that has just cost me 1 full day's email activity due to their incompetence!!
Thanks for the suggestions guys.

Re: Sudden Fetchmail Failures
Hi Thanks for the replies.
I've tested the login's manually and they work fine, and I've also checked with the ISP and I've not been blocked (That was my first thought)
It's set to check every 3 mins.
I've just changed the usernames on some of the accounts to be:

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
Yes, I have not removed the folders - thought I'd leave them as it's only my account which has been affected since I was the only account logged in before changing Mailbox locations.
All other accounts are working fine an no logging errors since AFP has been disabled.

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
I've updated the dovecot.conf file similar to yours,
The only part that was missing was:
mail_location = maildir:~/Mail
mail_privileged_group = mail
I've added this in and now the mails are in the folders as they should be, there are some extra folders in the list:
Inbox (17/25)
.Account ...

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
Ok, so have opened up the dovecot.conf file and found that under protocols there was nothing after the =
So I edited it to be:
protocols = imap imaps
And now I can log onto the webmail interface, it's not the same as it was before, the folder list is a mess but at least I am logged in.

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
Ok, so have now removed those log files, rebooted with those lines in the dovecot.conf file and have disabled netatalk.
I've opened those dovecot log files and this is what is printed:
root@main-bubba:/tmp# ls
dovecot-info.log dovecot.log ftdaemon sess_7bnf8o9akfqcl65b6nfbfq3oj0

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
There is a Mac machine on the network running Windows 7?
I didn't think this was related to the dovecot, I have a feeling the dovecot issue can be resolved by geting the space back on the partition and then making sure my dovecot.conf file is configured properly.
I will try disabling netatalk - if ...

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
Ok, so the following 2 logs, Daemon, Syslog are 4GB each and both contain the following line over and over:
Nov 29 15:17:35 main-bubba cnid_metad[1148]: error in select: Bad file descriptor
Am researching it now.

Re: Dovecot / Horde Failure
Ok, so I checked to see if the new certs had been created, and there is a dovecot.pem
Point 2) I was unable to find anything relating to an error from dovecot, only what I've posted before (I can check logs if you know of any)
