Problem solved!
Summary description of the problem:
Power failure led to the "dissapearance" of my bubba from the network. It wouldnt come back (http://bubba would return that annoying Ron Paul propaganda at http://www.bubba.com) no matter how many times or in which order I rebooted the network ...

Re: Bubba unreachable after power failure
Thanks, but what I had in mind was more like:
"How do I reset my bubba to whatever state it was in, when it came out of the box, without deleting my 500 MB files, so it gets recognized by my network again? (i.e. I can access it with http://bubba)
Cheers
Victor

Re: Diacritics in file names (e.g. "å", "ä", "ö")
well, I solved this via a work-around: in stead of connecting the USB disk to bubba directly, I connected it to my home PC and then I copied files from there to the bubba HD.
So the problem is not really solved, but it doesnt bother me anymore

Bubba unreachable after power failure
Fellow Bubbians,
After one week of work with carefully filling up my 1TB disk on bubba with all my flac music from external drives and one happy day of perfect Squeezebox operation, a nightmare happened:
After a power failure, bubba refused to reappear on my network. It's not there anymore. I ...

Re: Diacritics in file names (e.g. "å", "ä", "ö")
Thank you for answering, but unfortunately it didn't help.
BTW the problem arises both in the internet browser (I tried both IE and Firefox) AND in the WIndows Explorer window.
Changing character encoding from Western (which was the default on my Firefox) to Unicode didn't help.

Diacritics in file names (e.g. "å", "ä", "ö")
Hi guys,
Just got my Bubba Two today and I am a pretty happy camper so far. :)
One single annoying thing that I discovered so far:
I have all my FLAC music on a USB disk, but I plan to move it inside my Bubba on its 1TB disk, and continue using the external USB drive as a back up.
